JetBrains invited me to their annual JavaScript Day to talk about - what else - modern JavaScript tooling.
In this session I showed how the shift towards Rust-powered tools (Vite with Rolldown, Oxc, Oxlint) translates into concrete wins for day-to-day development: faster builds, quicker feedback cycles and fewer of the usual papercuts that come with maintaining JavaScript projects over time.
